“Education is the key to developing countries.” (Princess Anne)
Book Aid for Africa (BAFA) is a UK registered Charity that was set up to address the imbalance in educational provision in Africa. The Charity collects books, computers, and other educational resources and sends them to areas of great need in Africa. It does cost a substantial amount to run such a charity. Books need to be collected, stored, sorted, packaged, and shipped before they can reach their desired locations in Africa. And it costs about £2500-£5000 to ship books to any part of Africa, depending on whether it is a pallet or a 20ft container. Nevertheless, I am sure you would agree with the mission of BAFA that investing in education in Africa is a worthwhile venture. Good quality education will help to ensure a bright future for Africa’s children. At BAFA we believe education should be a right and not just a
privilege for the deprived children of Africa.
